Virtual Reality Therapy

 

Research demonstrates that a skilled therapist can effectively treat a variety of problems with VRT.   We now offer VRT, when judged by the client's therapist to be appropriate, for a number of presenting problems. We most commonly use VRT, when clients are comfortable with this method of treatment, for:

  • Pain Management

  • Heights
  • Bridges
  • Driving
  • Dogs
  • Insects (spiders, roaches, ect.)

 Virtual reality is a tool, not a treatment. All use of this tool will be in the context of psychotherapy/counseling with a therapist trained in the treatment of mental health issues as well as in the use of VRT.
