Deborah A. Harrison, Ph.D,

Dr. Harrison has completed extensive training, all in the field of clinical psychology. After finishing a bachelor's degree in psychology at Indiana University in 1981, Dr. Harrison completed a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1986. Further training included an internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a residency year in a large group practice in south Florida. She has seen clients in counseling since 1981.

In addition to private practice in Naples, Dr. Harrison was previously on staff at Naples Community Hospital as well as with six other hospitals, and served as the clinical director of the Guidance Clinic of the Middle Keys. She presently sees adults and children for evaluation and counseling, and provides forensic evaluations and expert witness testimony for the courts. Her present areas of special interest include depression, anxiety, hypnosis, insomnia, personal growth, midlife and retirement issues, and forensic evaluations as well as others.

Regina A. Finnegan, Ph.D,

Dr. Finnegan completed her Ph.D. in Psychology (Social and Personality Development) in 1996 at Florida Atlantic University and her Clinical Respecialization at Columbia University/Teachers College in 1998. She completed her internship at Florida State University and a postdoctoral residency at Coastal Recovery Centers in Sarasota, FL. Dr. Finnegan has also conducted research on the enduring effects of early parent-child relating and coping styles adopted early in life. She utilizes a similar emphasis (among others) in the treatment of adults for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and social, stress-related, and personality disorders.

Barbara Leah, Psy.D,

Dr. Leah received her doctorate degree in Psychology in 1981 from Florida Institute of Technology. Since then, she has provided counseling services in private practice, business, and medical settings, as well as teaching and consulting for the graduate Psychology department at Nova Southeastern University. Her areas of specialty include stress-related disorders (emotional and physical), anxiety, and depression. She blends psychotherapy techniques with neurophysiological approaches to treatment.

Linda S. Alexander,  Psy.D.

Dr. Alexander received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology in 1994 from Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She completed her doctoral internship in 1995 at Quinco Behavioral Consulting Associates in Columbus, IN. Dr. Alexander completed her post-doctoral training at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). She was Associate Director and Director of Training at CAPS from 1995-1999. Dr. Alexander works with adults. Her areas of specialization include treatment of depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She has specialized training in marital therapy and is also certified in EMDR, a specialized treatment for PTSD. Dr. Alexander is also a Registered Nurse, as she holds both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in nursing.

Tina Kaestner, Psy.D,

Dr. Kaestner completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida. She then attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale and earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. She served a year-long internship at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Following her internship, Dr. Kaestner completed a year-long residency with The Renfrew Center in Coconut Creek, Florida. The Renfrew Center is a residential treatment facility for women 14 years of age and older who are diagnosed with eating disorders and other co-morbid conditions. Dr. Kaestner has also experience providing treatment for children, teenagers, and their families at a Community Mental Health Center in Fort Lauderdale, and providing therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults at the Broward Children’s Center. In addition, Dr. Kaestner has taught several undergraduate level courses at Nova Southeastern University for the past 2 ½ years.

Nydia Conrad, Psy. D.
Psychology Resident


Dr. Conrad completed her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from The State University of New York at Oswego, her Doctoral degree at The Florida School of Professional Psychology in Tampa, FL., and her clinical internship with the Florida Department of Corrections. At the Department of Corrections, Dr. Conrad conducted individual and group therapy with clients representing a variety of clinical issues such as: anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, self injury, impulse control disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and adjustment disorders.

Dr. Conrad has worked with children and adults with interpersonal problems, social skills development, coping skills, stress management, parenting, family therapy, domestic violence, and bereavement.  She has extensive experience in the psychological and cognitive testing of child, adult, and forensic populations. Dr. Conrad is interested in the application of psychological principles in courtroom settings and has conducted research on trial preparation with specific emphasis on the effect of defendant characteristics on juror perceptions and leniency. She has also published an editorial in the Bradenton Herald on the causes and effects of martial infidelity.

Currently, Dr. Conrad enjoys working with children, adolescent, and adult patients. She utilizes Client Centered Play Therapy in her work with children and uses an Integrated Interpersonal Process approach in her work with adolescents and adults. Dr. Conrad is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish fluently. Presently she is working as a postdoctoral resident towards Florida licensure.

Patricia M. Watts, Ph.D,
Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Watts obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology from the New School for Social Research in New York City in 2003. She received a Postdoctoral Fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell Medical Center where she specialized in the treatment of anxiety and personality disorders. On her internship at Connecticut Valley Hospital, she provided outpatient psychotherapy for patients with severe trauma histories. In addition, she conducted psychological assessments and psychotherapy for inpatients at the Whiting Forensic Division, the hospital's maximum-security facility. She has also trained at Payne-Whitney's Center for Anxiety & Traumatic Stress and Beth Israel Medical Center's Brief Psychotherapy Research Project.

In her current work as a psychotherapist, Dr. Watts treats adults and adolescents. She specialized in PTSD and other anxiety disorders, depression, violence prevention and personality disorders. Prior to becoming a psychologist, Dr. Watts had a career as a magazine editor and writer covering issues of career advancement and negotiating workplace politics. She incorporates this experience in her therapy work, helping clients fulfill their career potential.

Giulia “Julia” Ramsey is the Office Coordinator for all of our locations. She will be your point of contact for initial information about our services and to schedule or reschedule an appointment with our counselors.

Ms. Ramsey has extensive experience as an administrator. In addition to administrative tasks at our office, she will check with your health insurance company for your insurance benefits. She also keeps and updates all insurance data. Please contact her for questions related to appointments, insurance benefits, or billing.

Ms. Ramsey is bilingual in English and German.
