Rosemary McCullough, Ph.D.

Dr. McCullough received her Ph.D. from Columbia University in the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral residency at Interfaith Medical Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. McCullough’s background involves clinical and neuropsychological assessments and evaluations, work in acute care, with clinical specialties in adult, couples, and family therapy.
Dr. McCullough has training in urban, multiracial and multicultural settings, providing long and short-term psychotherapy, mobile crisis intervention, and group therapy. She has facilitated several workshops and interventions involving work with families, substance abuse, managing medication, issues related to dementia, clinical depression and anxiety disorders. She has conducted research in family systems as they relate to young adult identity development; religious identity and faith formation; predictors of marital satisfaction; organizational initiatives and issues unique to women-work-and-family.
McCullough is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Ave Maria University, where she has been able to apply her love of clinical counseling with students and fellow colleagues for the last three years.
